Long and Partners have been involved with the design specification for the provision
of a new fire alarm system at the Burlington Arcade Shopping Mall, London.


	The Grade 1 listed building was the first covered shopping arcade in the world, built in 1819 it is still manned by livered guards to this day. The 45 retail outlets will be protected by an interim wireless system until such time as a hard wide solution can be integrated into the timeless décor with minimal disruption.
